Programme

The Conference Registration and Introductory Plenary sessions are on Wednesday 24 June 2026. Presentations of accepted research papers are scheduled on Thursday 25 and 26 Friday June 2026. A field trip to local breweries and related attractions is planned on Saturday 27 June 2026.

All sessions will take place at the ESSCA Campus, plenary and seminar rooms will be indicate with the release of the official conference programme in June 2026.

* The conference rate includes coffee breaks, two lunches and two dinners.

** The reduced conference rate is only available for students and doctoral candidates.

*** Accompanying guests are limited to one per individual participant and can attend social events within the conference.

 

THE REGISTRATION PORTAL WILL OPEN IN MARCH 2026

The Conference registration deadline is Wednesday 1st April, 2026.

 

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be advised by email [beeronomics2026@essca.fr]. For cancellations received before May 15th, 2026: 50% of the registration fee will be charged. Cancellations after this date will not be refundable. Substitute participants will be accepted at any time via email.

 

Best Paper Awards

The XI Beeronomics Conference Organising and Scientific Committee are delighted to launch two awards: 

  • “Beeronomics 2026 Best Paper Award” for the best theoretical or empirical paper presented. The winner will receive a prize of €500;
  • “Beeronomics 2026 Young Researcher Best Paper Award” for the best theoretical or empirical paper presented by a young researcher (first author on the paper must be younger than 35, with no age limitation applied to other co-authors). The winner will receive a prize of €250.

Papers must be between 4,000 and 5,000 words in length (including title, authors’ affiliations, abstract, tables, figures, references and appendixes); text must be justified and 1,5 line spaced; 11pt font size.

Participants who wish to take part to the best paper competitions must submit a full paper via email to beeronomics2026@essca.fr by Friday 31 May 2026 at 5pm (CET).
